Description

Modules

01. Analysing the environment

Analysing the environment is about identifying the external and internal elements which can affect organisational performance. In this module, you will learn about the various factors to consider when analysing the environment and mechanisms for identifying opportunities, mitigating internal and external threats and leveraging internal strengths.

02. Purpose and vision

In this module, we highlight the importance of a well-defined purpose and vision for the effective setting of strategy. You will learn how to define a strong purpose and clarify your vision to direct the focus and attention of the firm and engage stakeholders.

03. Strategic objectives and choices

Strategic objectives move a firm towards the achievement of its vision. In this module, you will learn how to identify and analyse the strategic choices available to you and how to choose and set effective strategic objectives to ultimately achieve the firm’s vision.

04. Organisation capability

This module explores the importance of the firm’s capability in achieving your strategic objectives. In this module, you will learn how to determine the most critical capabilities the firm requires to deliver on your strategic objectives and how to acquire these skills and competencies where they need to be developed.

05. Program management

Program management is about taking strategy initiatives and turning them into workable action plans. It’s a critical component of strategy execution. In this module, you will learn how to develop action plans by detailing, prioritising and coordinating actions to achieve your strategic objectives.

06. Running an offsite

Running a strategy offsite will enable you to engage key stakeholders in developing and implementing your strategy. In this module, you will learn how to design an effective strategy offsite so you can maximise stakeholder engagement.
